Staff-Parish Relations Committee (SPRC) will meet on August 17th at 6:30 for its next scheduled meeting.
Employee contracts have been renewed for our clerical, financial and maintenance staff through July, 2018. We will be meeting with our church musicians in the coming weeks to renew their contracts as well.
We are grateful for Ted Uyesaka’s support in securing Word processing program to enhance our front office capabilities.
Reminder: Friend’s Care will be taking a break in August, as some of us will be busy participating in our annual Hawaiian Luau, but we will return September 8 and continue each 2nd Friday of the month through the rest of the year and
beyond. Aloha and Mahalo!

Your input is important.
UJCC Community Mission Garden Update
The garden is coming along great. Tomatoes are ripening like crazy. If you’re bored and want something to do, come out and pick tomatoes. Can use the help!! Served the garden watermelon during fellowship time and it was delicious. It was sweet and juicy. I believe there are a few more left that should be ready for harvesting. Watch out for them on the vegetable table. Cucumbers are coming in slowly as well as the eggplants.
