Staff-Parish Relations Committee (SPRC) will meet on June 15, Thursday at 6:30.
SPRC will be working to renew staff contracts in the coming weeks
Please mark your calendars for our June 9, Friday FRIEND’S CARE delivery.
FRIEND’S CARE has purchased anti-fatigue mats for our UJCC kitchen area. The mats have noticeably reduced pressure, pain and fatigue caused by standing on a hard cement surface. Special thanks to Cosh Ng, Mel Imai and Gus Pendleton for the shopping and purchasing these items at a reduced cost. Special mat cleaning is necessary to avoid grease and bacteria build-up.

During the summer months, the LVT members plan on visiting seniors in the Selma and Sacramento areas, as well as visitations at Vintage Gardens and individual homes. Our card ministry will continue throughout the year. Please let June or Marcia know of anyone needing a friendly visit or card sent
to them. Our mission is to keep in touch with members and friends of our church community and to bring the love of Christ into their homes and lives.
The next regularly scheduled business meeting for the LVT will be held on Thursday, Sept. 7, 2017, at 5:30 p.m. at Four Seasons Restaurant in Clovis.
UJCC Community Mission Garden Update
Well, had our first full harvest on Sunday, May 21st. Garden is coming along great. The tomatoes have been staked and strung. Did find couple of the zucchinis half eaten out there. Not sure what kind of creature likes the zucchinis.
Everyone come out to the garden and see the pumpkins and the watermelons that are sprouting. My Sunday school kids loved harvesting and were excited to see the pumpkins and watermelons.
