Sunday School

In preparation for Palm Sunday, the 5th and 6th grade class has drawn pictures to be published on the Palm Sunday Worship Bulletin. We did this in our class. However, if your 5th or 6th grader missed this class, it’s not too late to get
published on the Worship Bulletin for Palm Sunday. The only requirements are that it be hand drawn and done in black and white. The due date for this is:  April 2, 2017.

All Sunday School Classes will get the opportunity to be published on the Worship Bulletin. The Sunday School Teachers have their theme and dates when it is their turn and the due date. The Sunday School Teachers have plan
to do this in class. However, if your child misses this class they are more than welcome to participate. Therefore, check with your Sunday School Teacher about their theme and due date.

On April 9, 2017 is Palm Sunday and the Sunday School Students will be processing in with palms on that day so please have your Sunday School Students in their classrooms by 10:15 a.m.

On April 9, is Easter: On this day we will be doing our Easter tradition of flowering the cross. Therefore, we are asking to please have your Sunday School Student(s) in their classrooms by 10:15 a.m.

On Easter directly after service the Sunday School students from Pre-school through 6th grade will have an Easter egg hunt. We are asking for donations of filled plastic eggs. Please no chocolate candy, because it melts and is a mess when the students open their eggs. We would greatly appreciate wrapped candy in the eggs. Also, please tape the eggs shut. Please put the eggs in the High School Classroom. Here are some suggestions of candy to put in the
eggs: skittles, gummy fish, or worms, nerds, wrapped jelly beans or jelly belly’s, nerds, sour patch kids etc.
