Sunday School

Sunday school for children and youth takes place every Sunday at 10:30 a.m. at the same time as Worship. The children and youth attend worship every Sunday for the first 15 minutes and then head to their classrooms.

We are blessed to have three age level youth groups at UJCC:
  • 5th & 6th Grade Youth Group
  • 7th & 8th Grade Youth Group: F.R.O.G. Fellowship (Fully Relying On God)
  • Senior High Youth Group (9th-12th grade)

FROG Fellowship

Are you in junior high and looking for a great group of friends to hang out with?  Do you like doing fun things like going on a ropes course, bowling, and movies?  Then come join the FROG Fellowship!  The FROG Fellowship (FROG stands for Fully Relying on God) is our 7th and 8th grade group that meets for monthly activities, fellowship, and fun!

At UJCC our goal is to provide ministry to all generations. Youth are especially in need of a caring community of acceptance and grace to help them through this wondrous and yet also trying time of their lives (adolescence). The guidance and support of a church youth group that helps them to know that God cares for each of them can be the very thing that sustains them and helps them to grow during this chapter of their lives.

Many outstanding activities and events are planned throughout the year which include outings, church summer camps and conferences, community service projects, fundraisers, and church overnighters (lock-ins).  Visit our Online Calendar on the Web by clicking HERE and seeing what fun is in store this month!  For more information, contact Akiko by email or call the church at (559) 322-0701.

High School Youth

Timothy 4:12 says, "Get the word out. Teach all these things. And don't let anyone put you down because you're young. Teach believers with your life: by word, by demeanor, by love, by faith, by integrity."

We get together every Sunday morning to figure out how to do that better: we read the Bible, we talk about it, support one another, hang out, pray, etc. Then we take what we are learning and we share it in different ways: doing service projects, mission trips, teaching the younger kids at our church, coordinating the church's recycling program, leading worship, and so on. And sometimes we just have fun! We're a great group and everyone is always welcome!
