An encaustic art by Irene Ikeda
Updated: Jun 14, 2022

"This is my first piece of encaustic art, also known as hot wax painting that dates back to the 1700s. My sister has been an encaustic artist for many years and helped me with this piece. This is a photo of my Mom, Kay Ikeda, from her days in camp in Jerome, Arkansas along with her hand-written recipes for cream puffs, a family favorite, and poppyseed cake."
