UJCC Sunday House Worship Service

October 4, 2020 * 18th Sunday After Pentecost * World Communion Sunday

Blessings to you this Sunday morning! You are invited to use the following prayers & order of worship as we lift our hearts to God together from our respective homes!

Opening Prayer

In you alone we put our hope,

God the Father, Creator and Sustainer,

who gives all good things

seen and unseen.

In you alone we put our hope,

God the Son, Savior, and Redeemer,

who died for our sins

and rose again.

In you alone we put our hope,

God the Spirit, Teacher, and Comforter,

who moves us to sing

“Our God reigns!”

In you alone we put our hope. (jb)

Romans 15:13-15

13. May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that you may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.

14. I myself feel confident about you, my brothers and sisters, that you yourselves are full of goodness, filled with all knowledge, and able to instruct one another.

15. Nevertheless, on some points I have written to you rather boldly by way of reminder, because of the grace given me by God.
